Dining in Disney World: This is an overview of eating options which are plentiful and can be complicated. We will do more detailed parks and springs episodes later! Any food reviews we give are from times we’ve been to Disney and bought our own stuff. While we wish we were paid to spend time in the place where dreams come true, we are not sponsored by or affiliated with Disney or Disney properties. We just like them a lot.
BRINGING YOUR OWN FOOD:
Reasons:
-saves money
-Dietary restrictions
-If special experiences and foods aren’t a priority, that’s okay! We’ll talk about advantages to “skipping” meals in Disney, too.
Overall Restrictions:
-Glass containers are allowed in the hotels only
-Coolers must be smaller than 24”x 15”x 18”, loose or dry ice prohibited.
-If you have any doubts, talk to a Disney rep.
Where to get food:
-bring from home (how are you traveling?)
-Local stores (rental car/uber)
-Markets in Disney resorts ($$ and limited stock).
-Check amenities in hotel room for prep options.
-Rental lockers especially important at water parks.
