I miss Bucky and I’m so excited to see him! Lauryn and Chase are coming to see him as well. I might actually make progress reading and writing while our little dude just babies around. We have to wear the gown and mask and everything and I feel like maybe I’ve written about this but whatever here we are again I guess.

Dinah is currently rolling on to her side and rubbing her face on my shoulder. I didn’t wash this shirt before wearing it so it probably still smells like the ice cream place. oops.

I don’t know what I want to write the 500 words on tonight. I’m thinking about animal welfare and rainbows in the sky, about finishing Versailles and the fact that humans can’t be trusted with commerce. I’m thinking about seeing my son tomorrow and how weird it is that I have kids. That I’m a mom. I’m thinking about my weird (and exciting?) dream last night where I had written a memoir and ended up reading some of it to a group of people at a little cafe where Gordon Ramsay was doing a signing of his newest cookbook/tell all. I need to stop watching so much Kitchen Nightmares. I’m thinking about how long I’ve been reading Archie Comics and how much I love Riverdale, no matter how trashy it gets. I’m thinking about how Mayday wouldn’t sleep today for anything — and I spent more time listening to her cry than normal but I didn’t really have a choice. Thinking about how long I’ve been wandering around in Targets, and how we overheard the family talking about how they still had two hours to drive yesterday as the young girls ran…
